The No. 1 overall seeded LaGrange boys tennis team had no problems in the first round of the 3A state playoffs on Thursday, dominating Liberty High School 5-0.

 

Boys Individual Results:

No.1 Singles: Charlie Battle (LG) defeated Donovan Robinson (L) 6 – 0, 6 – 0

No.2 Singles: Scout Mosley (LG) defeated Elijah Cepeda (L) 6 – 0, 6 – 0

No.3 Singles: LaGrange won by Forfeit

No.1 Doubles: Sehun Seol and Towns Weldon (LG) defeated Lukas Kinzer and Logan

Barker (L) 6 – 0, 6 – 0

No.2 Doubles: LaGrange won by Forfeit

 

LaGrange improved to 22 – 2 on the season. The Grangers will host an old region opponent in North Clayton for the round of 16 early next week.
