Memorial Services for Dorothy Tigner Amerini will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 P.M. Noon at West Georgia Mortuary Cremation at 605 Hill Street, Lagrange, 30241. Rev. Frederick Stanley will officiate with Full Military (Army) Honors at Meadoway Gardens,3293 Hamilton Road, Lagrange, Georgia 30241. Phone:706-883-2120.
Shortly after graduation from East Depot High School in 1969, Amerini joined the U.S. ARMY as a 91 Bravo Medic. She has been stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. Egypt, Africa, Italy, Fort Polk, Louisiana and The Presidio in San Francisco, CA.
Amerini was preceded in death by her parents, Sol and Julia Tigner.Survivors include a niece, Donna Ross Richardson of Atlanta, a nephew, Tony (Tangela) Ross of Newnan, a great niece, Ebony Ross of Lagrange, Three great nephews, Tristan Ross, Stefon Ross both of Lagrange and Tye Richardson stationed in Italy.and three great great nephews.
