Vivian Faith Roberts Cheatham, 77, of Conyers, GA, and Nashville, TN, passed away surrounded by her children on May 4, 2025, after suffering a stroke.
Vivian was the mother of Susan Hope Bond and George Edward Cheatham, Jr.; mother-in-law to Sean Douglas Bond and Katherine McLendon Parker; and grandmother of Julian Everett Cheatham.
Born in Hogansville, Georgia, in 1947 to Doris Bryant and James Roberts, her family also included stepfather Buddy Bryant and half-brother Clay Bryant.
Vivian worked in banking before joining Lithonia Lighting, where she served in administration for decades before retiring.
Vivian took special joy in gardening and, after intensive training, became a Georgia Master Gardener.
She volunteered in community outreach and events through the Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Program. Vivian deeply loved animals, enjoyed travel, and sought out laughter. She was also a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Cheatham, Sr.; mother, Doris Bryant; father, James Roberts; and stepfather, Buddy Bryant.
A private family service will be held.
