Memorial Services for Dorothy Tigner Amerini will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 P.M. Noon at West Georgia Mortuary Cremation at 605 Hill Street, Lagrange, 30241.
Rev. Frederick Stanley will officiate with Full Military (Army) Honors at Meadoway Gardens,3293 Hamilton Road, Lagrange, Georgia 30241. Phone:706-883-2120.
Shortly after graduation from East Depot High School in 1969, Amerini joined the U.S. ARMY as a 91 Bravo Medic.
She has been stationed in Fort Bragg, NC.Egypt, Africa, Italy, Fort Polk, Louisiana and The Presidio in San Francisco, CA.
Amerini was preceded in death by her late husband Renato Amerini and parents, Sol and Julia Tigner.
Survivors include a niece, Donna Ross Richardson of Atlanta, a nephew, Tony (Tangela) Ross of Newnan, a great niece, Danielle Dowell Ebony Ross of Lagrange, four great nephews, Tristan Ross, Stefon Ross both of Lagrange, Tye Richardson stationed in Italy, Malcom Meredith and three great great nephews.
