On May 8, 2025, at approximately 3:56 a.m., officers responded to a home at 701 Miami Street in reference to shots fired into an occupied residence.

Upon arrival, Officers determined that several rounds had been fired into the residence that was occupied by three people at that time. There were no injuries sustained as a result. The Criminal Investigation Division was contacted to respond to the scene and to conduct an investigation.
