On May 13, Courtney Johnson, 21 years old, and Noah Johns, 22 years old, of Hogansville were
arrested and charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children for the Distribution of Child Sexual
Assault Material.

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office who are members of the Georgia Internet
Crimes Against Children Task Force (GAICAC) received a Cybertip from the National Center
for Missing and Exploited Children in regards to a Troup County resident who was possibly
distributing and advertising Child Sexual Assault Material.

A search warrant was executed at the couple’s residence at a location in Hogansville. During the
search warrant investigators gathered additional evidence that led to the arrest of Johnson and
Johns.

This investigation is still active, and more charges are possible. Nothing further at this time.
