TCSS issues graduation guidelines

With all three public high schools set for graduation this week, Troup County has provided a list of rules and expectations for commencement ceremonies this year.
To ensure a joyous and safe environment for everyone attending the ceremonies at Callaway Stadium, please review the following guidelines:
Before You Arrive at Callaway Stadium:
4Tickets are required for entry. Please remember: NO TICKET, NO ENTRY! This will be strictly enforced.
4Only clear bags will be permitted inside the stadium.
4 For the safety of all, full face masks or coverings are not allowed.
4Everyone will be screened as they enter the stadium.
4Dallis Street between Elm Street and Panther Way will be closed to traffic starting at 5 p.m..
During the Ceremony:
4Once you exit the stadium, there will be no re-entry.
4Do not loiter before, during, or after the graduation ceremonies to help with crowd flow.
4Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult.
Graduation Schedule:
4Callaway High School: Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m.
4Troup High School: Friday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m.
4LaGrange High School: Saturday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m.
The Troup County School System will also livestream each graduation ceremony on its official Facebook and YouTube channels, allowing families and friends to celebrate from anywhere.
