Full Service: Sensigreen cuts ribbon on LaGrange location

“We are a full-service Heating and Air company, and also insulation. So we do, spray foam insulation, fiberglass insulation, and then heating and air conditioning, repair service and install everything,” explained Justin Quinn, the owner of the aptly named Sensigreen Heating, Cooling and Insulation.

The company just opened in LaGrange their third location, having started in Opelika then later expanding to Huntsville, Alabama. 

Quinn has been in the industry for a while and always been entrepreneurial. He came down to Opelika in 2011 to work for Sensigreen, which at the time was under the larger company, Stone Martin Builders LLC. 

“When I first started, it was just me and two guys, and we started out of a garage behind the Stone Martin office, and we just did spray foam insulation for their houses,” Quinn recalled. “I talked about…doing heating and air and insulation, because they go together so well. And in order for me to grow the company, we really thought that would be a good piece of the puzzle.”

The addition of heating and air was a good one for the company and Quinn. He soon bought the company from Stone Martin and has operated it as the CEO and President ever since. 

While the business is based in Huntsville, its customers are all over. They saw a market in LaGrange. This on top of the fact that many of their employees were based in LaGrange made the town the perfect expansion site. 

“You’ll start seeing us around with advertising and getting involved with different events,” Quinn said. “I know there’s a Christmas parade that’s very big in LaGrange, we will be in that.”

While they have industrial and commercial clients, Quinn says much of their work is with individuals and families. 

“We started installing units in 2012…we’re seeing our customers staying with us. And as [the] units are getting 10 years or older, they’re calling us to do the change-out,” Quinn adds that while the industry is highly competitive, Sensigreen tries to stand apart with top-tier customer service. 

“We care about customers. I mean that that is what’s gotten us to where we are today. We are a five-star rated company with over 800 reviews on Google, and that doesn’t happen without caring about customers. That doesn’t mean things don’t go wrong, but when things do go wrong, it’s how you handle it,” Quinn said.
