On May 27, 2025, at approximately 10:50 P.M., Officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to the Hop In gas station, 1324 Hogansville Road, in reference to an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival, they met with the store clerk who advised that a white male, wearing face covering and gloves and armed with a can of pepper spray, entered the store and sprayed them in the face with pepper spray before going behind the counter and taking the night deposit bank bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash.. The suspect fled on foot on Hogansville Road, in the direction of Hogansville. The Criminal Investigation Division was notified, and they took over the investigation.
