A LaGrange Police officer was charged with boating under the influence for an incident over Memorial Day weekend.

Megan Keith was arrested by Department of Natural Resources (DNR) game wardens on Saturday, May 24, charged with boating under the influence and failure to obey a regulatory marker.

According to a spokesperson for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division, game wardens arrested Megan Keith on Saturday, May 24.

DNR provided no further information regarding the arrest.

LaGrange Police Public Information Officer Jeremy Butler confirmed that Keith is on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
