LPD needs assistance with Cold Case – Murder incident in 2020

The LaGrange Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively reviewing a cold case and is seeking assistance from the public to help advance the investigation. With the review of a cold case, the LaGrange Police Department is urging members of the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small, that may help bring justice and closure to the victim’s loved ones.
The case involves the unsolved homicide of Mondelrius Gray, which occurred on September 9, 2020, in the area of 14 Whiting Street. Despite exhaustive efforts at the time of the incident and in the years since no arrests have been made directly related to this incident, and the case remains unsolved.
Detectives believe that someone in the community may hold critical information that could lead to a breakthrough in the case.
The department is particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the area of Whiting Street on or around September 9, 2020, or who may have heard or seen anything unusual at the time.
