Mrs. Martha Jean Fetner, of Pine Mountain, passed away on June 4, 2025.
She was born in LaGrange on April 27, 1932 to the late William Garfield Hale and Ina Smith Hale.
She loved her family and especially treasured her time as a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was an enthusiastic arts and crafter, always working on a project or gift for a family member or friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Glen Fetner.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Fetner Sykes (Dale); her sister, Wanda Hale Carter; her grandchildren, Glenn Sykes (Monika) and Michelle Sykes; her great-grandchildren, William Sykes and Kevin Sykes; and her faithful and loving caretaker, Kim Hand.
The graveside funeral service will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Cleve Moore will officiate the service.
