LABE Restaurant Group dba Jersey Mike’s in LaGrange and Columbus, GA used their annual Month of Giving fundraiser campaign for The Exceptional Way in LaGrange. The fundraiser was able to raise $24,649.

The Exceptional Way, located in LaGrange, is a private, nonprofit day center for adults, 19 and older, with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Center is open to participants Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am. – 3:00 p.m. An array of activities is provided for participants including arts and crafts, life skills, recreation and typically two outings a month. A variety of experiences designed to enrich our participants’ quality of life are provided daily in an atmosphere where everyone is accepted as they are. The participants have developed a wonderful sense of community here where they look out for each other and care about each other.

The Exceptional Way board, staff and participants are grateful to LABE Restaurant Group and Jersey Mike’s for selecting this organization as the beneficiary of their month of giving.
