Harbor Freight recruiting employees

LaGRANGE – The Georgia Department of Labor plans to hold a recruitment fair for a Harbor Freight Tools that is expected to open in LaGrange in January.

Harbor Freight Tools was founded in 1977 and is a retailer of quality tools at discounted rates. The company operates over 600 stores nationwide selling tools ranging from automotive to home use.

Recruitment is scheduled for Dec. 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the GDOL’s LaGrange Career Center, and recruiters will be looking for one sales supervisor, two logistic supervisors, 20 logistic associates and 20 sales associates.

Logistic and sales associate position salaries begin at $8.50 an hour, and supervisor salaries begin at $11.40 an hour. Supervisor positions require at least one year of related management experience.

All applicants will need to be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a general education diploma and be able to pass a background check.  The GDOL encourages applicants to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
