LaGRANGE- There’s a new State Farm Insurance Agency in LaGrange and Paula J. Waldron is the name you’ll find on the State Farm sign located on 112 Kia Drive, Suite A off Lafayette Parkway near the KIA of LaGrange dealership.

Waldron is supported by her wonderful team that features Sandie Pike, the Insurance Account Manager and someone who has 25 years of financial services; Daniel Gleasure, the Customer Service Manager, and Kim Phillips, the Agency Office Representative.

The agency building opened up on March 1.  After spending 15 years in financial services and the last five years in banking investments that involved helping people plan for their futures, Waldron made the transition into insurance – a position she did not expect to be in a year ago.

“The move was definitely for me driven by God and when He says move, then you just go,” said Waldron, a Michigan native who made the move to LaGrange from the Middle Georgia area. “When we found this building, it was a shell filled with dirt. We build it from the ground up. We designed the building. We painted the walls. We did the floors. Everything was real specific.”

As an investment banker, Waldron says that her job was to give clients advice on how to handle their assets and how they can grow and expand their savings and investments. After Waldron’s father became sick with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), her family struggled with not having enough financial resources to take of him. It was then that she saw the need to stress to her clients the importance of properly investing in their future.

“I learned you can invest but if you don’t protect that investment, it will be gone,” said Waldron. “I saw the need to protect your assets and what you value most before you invest. So my heart became more in line with helping other people who are just like my mom and dad. Making the move to State Farm is the best move I’ve ever made because it has allowed me to take what I’m passionate about and that’s protecting people. Having the opportunity to be a part of a reputable company that’s known for protecting people is really comforting.”

Waldron, a newlywed who is terrific with numbers and planning, says she wants to continue striving to make an impact within the community and be someone her clients can fully trust.

“I have a great team and the customers that we have really see the value of having an insurance agent that cares for them and their family,” said Waldron. “It’s awesome to work with a company whose vision is aligned with yours.”
