Krawfish for Kids to benefit Boys & Girls Club

Krawfish for Kids, featuring Louisiana-based food, along with children’s activities, raffles and music by Charlie Muncaster, is set for June 27 at 5 p.m. at Nutwood Plantation to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of West Georgia and the Southern Food Alliance, a nonprofit based at the University of Mississippi’s Center for the Study of Southern Culture. Church fundraiser to benefit youth programs

Teaver Road Baptist Church, 215 Teaver Road, hosts a barbecue plates for youth fundraiser 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 19. Cost is $5 per plate, which includes barbecue, baked beans, slaw, chips and bread.
