Churches: First Baptist Church in Hogansville hosts a “Journey off the Map” at Vacation Bible School at 6 p.m. Classes will be held for 3 years old through middle school ages and adults. Registration begins 5:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

Events: God’s Breadbasket, a food pantry serving Hogansville residents, is open 9 a.m.–noon.

Veterans advocate Mike Sauls will be at William Griggs Recreation Center from 1 to 5 p.m. to address information about veterans’ benefits and services, including filing and tracking claims, learning the process, cash benefits and terminology.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Family hosts support groups for those with a mental illness and for their family and friends at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 120 Broad St. in LaGrange, led by trained facilitators. 706-594-4714

Churches: Leete Hill United Methodist Church observes its first Pastor’s Appreciateion Program for the Rev. James Woods and Phyllis Woods with worship service at 11 a.m. with guest speaker minister Robert Brock, and a celebration service at 2 p.m. with pastor Michael Jackson and Confidence Missionary Baptist Church.
