LaGRANGE — LaGrange remains in third place as votes continue for the Bark for your Park contest, but the gap widens from leading cities Jacksonville, Illinois, and Watkinsville, Georgia.

The city is competing for a $100,000 private grant from pet product manufacturer PetSafe, which is earmarked specifically to fund a dog park in the winning community. LaGrange leaders plan to expand Granger Park to add the dog park if the city wins.
