LaGRANGE — LaGrange continues to lose ground and has dropped another rank in the Bark for Your Park contest. The city dropped to fifth place since Tuesday morning as Epworth, Iowa, overtook it with more than a 100-vote lead this morning. The city is competing for a $100,000 private grant from pet product manufacturer PetSafe. The grant is earmarked specifically to fund a dog park in the winning community. LaGrange leaders plan to expand Granger Park to add the dog park if the city wins. Visit http://www.petsafe.net/ barkforyourpark/city/ 2767/lagrange-ga/ to vote.
