Tree of Life Inc. hosts a Mini College Fair 4–7 p.m. at William Griggs Recreation Center, 716 Glenn Robertson Road. Experts will be available to help attendees with financial aid, ACT/SAT planning, essay writing, college applications and more will be offered. The event is free.
Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 8 a.m., noon, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
A bereavement support group meets 11 a.m. at Hospice LaGrange.

Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church hosts Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 each evening. Children and adults welcome.

Events: God’s Breadbasket, a food pantry serving Hogansville residents, is open from 9 a.m.–noon.

New Community Church hosts Career Connect, a free job search assistance and networking event, at 5:30 p.m. with representatives from local staffing agencies, colleges, businesses and industries. Admission is free. Career coaches from the Department of Labor Career Center, Troup County Works, LaGrange College and West Georgia Technical College will be available.
Beginner ballroom dance lessons for all ages are given 7:30–8:30 p.m. at the Active Life center on Ragland Street. 706-884-5857

Legacy Museum on Main hosts West Point Lake at 40 Years, a collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper through Sept. 10, exploring the history of the lake and its impact on life in the county.
