The Lafayette Christian School Cougars are off to a fast start.

After last week’s season-opening win over Appling Christian, the Cougars went on the road and beat Solid Rock Academy 51-26 on Friday.

Jemi Reed had a big night for the Cougars with three touchdown runs covering 44, 12 and five yards.

Eli Shepherd had a pair of 3-yard touchdown runs for the Cougars, and Jacob Lueken had a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Landon Whitley added a 3-yard touchdown run for the Cougars.

Lafayette Christian will host Covenant Christian next week.
