Legacy Museum on Main hosts West Point Lake at 40 Years, a collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper through Sept. 10, exploring the history of the lake and its impact on life in the county. LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway, hosts the Celebrate Summer art show featuring the work of artists in the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange and local artist Sarah Swanson through Sept. 26. Also on display will be painted violins and cellos that were beyond repair from years of use and will be auctioned Sept. 17 to raise money for the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra Guild’s youth programs.
