TROUP COUNTY — A second man is wanted by investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office in an alleged kidnapping on Aug. 25 in the eastern part of the county.

Investigators announced Thursday they are looking for Eddie Charles Johnson Jr., 32, of LaGrange.

According to a press release, the Troup County Sheriff’s Office has taken arrest warrants out for Johnson charging him with armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated battery.

Investigators believe Johnson and Aaron Creed, 29, allegedly kidnapped one person at gunpoint and pistol whipped another victim during an armed robbery.

One of the victims sustained broken facial bones, according to a TCSO report.

Creed was quickly arrested and is being held in the Troup County Jail charged with armed robbery and aggravated battery.

Investigators said Johnson is also wanted by LaGrange police for aggravated assault and is considered armed and dangerous.
