Happiness is a decision you make, not an emotion you feel.

I believe you are as happy as you want to be in life. I see some people that are in constant turmoil — they are always upset about whatever is going on in their lives.

You might say, “They are just real high-strung person.”

I say, “No, they live to be upset about whatever is going on in their lives.”

It does not help to be negative about your problems. Friend, you can stay happy and at peace about what goes on in your life or you can go nuts and make it worse.

Stop worrying about things you cannot change; it does no good. Be one of those people that does not fuss about everything.

We all have a flat tire from time to time. Life is not always ice cream and cookies.

Make the most out of every situation that life throws at you. Look for the best in your fellow man or woman and they may see the best side of you.

Make a living by what you get, make a life by what you give!

We all make a living doing something, we can all make a difference by making those people around us feel a little bit better about what we do and they do. Look for what someone has done well, let them know and, guess what, they will do more things right in the future, I promise.

A kind word to the lady bringing your food in a busy restaurant goes a long way. Everyone else knows about all the bad going on; be the person that lets your son or daughter know they did something good today.

Sometimes you may have to look really hard, but that is your job — just do it!
