Events: God’s Bread Basket hosts a fundraiser garage sale 8 a.m.–1 p.m. at 202 Oak St., Hogansville. There will be a drawing for a new Bose portable CD player. The Alzheimer’s Association hosts the Walk to End Alzheimer’s 9:30 a.m. at Vernon Woods Retirement Community, 101 Vernon Woods Drive off Vernon Street. LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway, hosts the Celebrate Summer art show featuring the work of artists in the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange and local artist Sarah Swanson through Sept. 26. Also on display will be painted violins and cellos that were beyond repair from years of use and will be auctioned Sept. 17 to raise money for the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra Guild’s youth programs.
