VALLEY, Ala. — Chris Collins and the Boulder Canyon Band will perform its tribute to John Denver 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the historic Langdale Theater in Valley.

Balcony seats are available and a very limited number of main floor seats are still available. Bill Gilbert of promotions group Bill Gilbert and Associates said the main floor will likely be sold out in the next three days and urged everyone interested to order their ticket by phone as soon as possible at 334-768-3410.

Chris Collins and the Boulder Canyon Band have been acclaimed as having the most exciting John Denver tribute, Gilbert said, with concerts receiving standing ovations all over the country. They perform all the John Denver favorite hits, including “Annie’s Song,” “Rocky Mountain High,” “Back Home Again,” “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” “Take Me Home Country Roads” and more.

The band consist of five musicians and playing a total 10 instruments. Collins has been noted as having a near-perfect John Denver voice, “and if you sit back and close your eyes, you will think you would are hearing the original John Denver and his band,” Gilbert said.
