Resident men of Vernon Woods Retirement Community helped to fill a community need by raising funds for the Troup County Homeless Coalition. They raised the funds through a benefit barbecue prepared by chef Jeffery Tucker. The men presented $1,236 to aid the funding of ‘Matthew’s Place,’ a new men’s shelter and the Emmaus House of LaGrange.
