LaGRANGE — Two men were in Troup County Jail Wednesday morning while LaGrange police search for their alleged accomplice in a string of copper thefts from various city buildings.
LaGrange police arrested Antony Hill and Nathaniel Cameron, both of LaGrange, about 6:15 p.m. Monday after officers responded to the Alfred Zachry Building at 200 N. Lewis St. for a report of a theft in progress.
According to a press release, when the officers arrived, they allegedly found Cameron assisting Hill with the theft of several copper downspouts from the building.

Greenwood St.; Splash Kitchen and Bath, 115 Broad St.; and Mallory Realty, 300 Broome St.
LaGrange police said Cameron and Antony Hill were each charged with five counts of theft.
Christopher Hill was still at large, detectives stated. He faces three theft charges.
The investigation is active. Detectives ask anyone with information about the incidents to contact the LaGrange Police Department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
