WRES to host Veterans Day Celebration

Attendees to last year’s Veterans Day Celebration at Whitesville Road Elementary School pack the lunch room. This year’s event is 5:30–7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the school.
LaGRANGE — Whitesville Road Elementary School is set to host its annual Veterans Day Celebration 5:30–7 p.m. Nov. 5.
All veterans and active military and their families are invited to attend. There will be a parade of heroes beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a meal and patriotic program.
“We would like to thank Baptist Tabernacle (Church) for once again providing a delicious meal for our participants,” said Sherri Watts, media specialist at WRES.
The program will include patriotic music and a dance program by the Whitesville Road Dance Team.
