Unbeaten Cougars ease to road win

The Lafayette Christian School Cougars moved to 7-0 with a 70-13 road win over Skipstone Academy on Thursday.
It was over early, with the Cougars taking a 28-4 lead after the first quarter, and they led 46-11 at the half.
Marcus Mobley led the Cougars with 20 points, six rebounds and five steals, and Antavius Sands had 15 points and five steals.
Jemi Reed also had a stellar all-around game with 11 points, six steals and six rebounds, and Gregory Benefield had nine points, five rebounds and five steals.
In Thursday’s girls’ game, Lafayette Christian lost to Skipstone 53-8 after falling to Ballard Christian 42-26 on Tuesday after returning from a three-week break.
Lafayette Christian’s teams will be on the road against Central Christian today.
