Preschool story time at LaGrange Memorial Library is at 10:30 a.m. and includes stories, fingerplays, songs and a craft time. 706-882-7784

The LaGrange Woman’s Club barbecue is 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Bellevue parking lot, 204 Ben Hill St. Tickets are $10. Dessert included. LaGrange Woman’s Club members will be selling tickets. All proceeds go for the preservation of Bellevue. Judy Bledsoe, 706-882-7611

Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at noon, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Churches: Bethesda Outreach Ministry hosts a feeding the hungry event at 104 Young’s Mill Road at 11 a.m.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts service and classes at 7 p.m.

Anointed by Faith Ministries hosts the sixth pastoral celebration of pastor Tifton Dobbs with guests Dr. Richard Jordan March 2–4 at 7 p.m. and apostle Melvin Cartwight March 16 at 3 p.m.

Events: God’s Breadbasket, a food pantry serving Hogansville residents, is open from 9 a.m.–noon.

The Interfaith Food Closet at 416 Pierce St. in LaGrange is open from 1–2:45 p.m. to help people in need of food. 706-882-9291

Line dance lessons are 1–2 p.m. at The Active Life at The Active Life center on Ragland Street.

Bridge games are open to the public at 2:15 and 5:30 p.m. at Bellevue. Cost is $10 per person per month. 706-882-9655

West Point City Council meets for a work session at 8:15 a.m.

The Kiwanis Club of LaGrange meets at noon at Highland Country Club.

Older Americans Sharing in Service, the senior adult group of Rosemont Baptist Church, meets at noon in the church fellowship hall.

The Sons of LaGrange Lodge No. 537, a Prince Hall affiliate, meets at 7:30 p.m. at the corner of Brown and Watson streets.

LaGrange Art Museum’s First LaGrange Southeast Regional juried exhibition is underway and will be on display through April 2. The show features work by only Southeastern artists. LaGrange Art Museum is located at 112 Lafayette Parkway and is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reach the museum at 706-882-3267.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16.
