Roots rocker Webb Wilder to play Pure Life Studios in LaGrange
LaGRANGE — Mississippi Hall of Fame artist Webb Wilder will perform an acoustic show at Pure Life Studios on Friday.
A roots rock musician, Wilder has also appeared in several “B movies” and was a DJ on XM Satellite Radio. Wilder is noted to be a relentless touring artist with raucous live shows featuring not only his music, but his quirky humor.
His most recent CD, “Mississippi Moderne,” is his 10th album. His last two CDs both reached No. 1 on the roots rock chart and stayed for weeks.
“I have to give a shout out to LaGrange and the Randall Bramblett followers,” said Maggie McDonald, owner/operator of Pure Life Studios. “They came out in full support of Randall. Then Randall went back and told his agent — who happens to be Webb Wilder’s agent — that we had great supporters in LaGrange and the stop was well worth it. Thank you to all who support, encourage and help promote Pure Life.”
The concert will be held at Pure Life Studios on 206 Clark St. in LaGrange. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Entry is a $20 cash donation at the door. Outside food and drinks are welcome.
