Teen accused of death threats against Trump
LaGRANGE — The Troup County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday afternoon that a 16 year old allegedly made death threats against presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Sheriff’s officials stated the teen was taken into custody and arrested at home.
According to the sheriff’s office, the 16 year old issued the threats on social media, which were discovered by sheriff’s investigators.
Law enforcement officials said they then notified federal officials about the discovery.
The Troup County Sheriff’s Office said the juvenile was charged.
