Fire damages Troup County home

Damage to the roof of a home at 89 Clearwater Drive is shown after a firefighters extinguished a blaze Wednesday.
LaGRANGE — A home at 89 Clearwater Drive was damaged by fire mid-day Wednesday.
Troup County and LaGrange firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported at 12:32 p.m., and brought it under control. No one was injured.
The fire caused apparent damage to the roof of the home and unspecified damage to the interior. A report on the incident was still incomplete and no cause for the blaze was available this morning.
