Gilead Baptist Church, is guest speaker at 11 a.m., and the Rev. Michael Jackson, pastor of Confidence Missionary Baptist Church, is guest speaker at 2:30 p.m.
Thankful Baptist Church, 1195 Cannonville Road, celebrates its 114th church anniversary and mortgage burning to commemorate paying off church debt at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be pastor Chris McCambry of Greater Jehovah Baptist Church, Grantville.

New Community Church hosts Career Connect, a free job search assistance and networking event, at 5:30 p.m. with representatives from local staffing agencies, colleges, businesses and industries.
