LaGRANGE — LaGrange police Monday morning continued to investigate the discovery of two deceased bodies inside a room at the Super 8 Motel at Patillo Road Saturday just before noon.

The victims were identified by police as Linda Kern, 64, and Randall Rogers, 60.

Police Sgt. Robert Kirby said an employee of the motel found the bodies.

Kern and Rogers had not been seen in several days before they were discovered Saturday, Kirby said.

There were no signs of foul play and no injuries to either body, he added. Investigators also did not find any drugs or drug paraphernalia inside the room.

Kirby stated both Kern and Rogers were reported to have health problems.

According to LaGrange police, the bodies were sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab for autopsies.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the LaGrange Police Department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
