The Friends of the Library Mega Sale will be held at the LaGrange Memorial Library in the Fackler Room on noon–5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. There will be a “brown bag” sale 2 p.m.–5 p.m. Saturday where customers pay $5 for all the books they can fit in the bag. CDs also will be available for $1 each.
Meetings: The West Georgia chapter of Fort Valley State University Alumni meets at 10 a.m. at the William Griggs Recreation Center.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16.
