Events: The 26th annual Troup County March for Babies is 10 a.m. at Hollis Hand Elementary School, 641 Country Club Road. Registration and team photos begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants can walk a 3-mile route that begins and ends at Hollis Hand Elementary School, which is followed by a picnic. www.marchforbabies.org ; 706-845-0708

Hogansville Active Life, 407 Church St., hosts a dance starting 7 p.m. featuring Jimmy Smith and The New River Band. Admission is $5. Open to all adults. 706-637-6606

Downtown LaGrange Development Authority Business and Economic Development meets at 2 p.m. at the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.
West Point City Council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16.
