Participants in the March of Dimes’ March for Babies event Saturday morning take off from Hollis Hand Elementary School on Country Club Road for the run/walk. Officials are still tabulating money raised for the event, and some teams are still fundraising and corporate sponsors’ donations are yet to be calculated, said Carla Starling, senior community director for the Southwest Georgia Division of March of Dimes, this morning. The group’s goal for this year is $92,000.
