LaGRANGE — The Troup County Roads Department announced Tuesday that Towns Road north of Costley Road will be closed for flood damage repair beginning May 26.

Two large drainage structures on Towns Road sustained major damage during the December 2015 flood, and the structures required replacement.

The first structure, north of Costley Road, has already been replaced. The second structure, south of Costley Road, will be replaced with construction beginning May 26. Troup County roads engineer James Emery said the work is expected to take three to four weeks to complete.
