Investigators searching for suspects in black sedan

LaGRANGE — A teen was shot in the leg Wednesday night while walking with his brother and another person near Addie and East Depot streets.

The two brothers made it to the Speedy Serve convenience store at 201 Whitesville Road at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and contacted 911. LaGrange police met the victim and his brother at the business.

The third person walking with them at the time of the shooting was not at the store and has not been identified, stated police.

The brothers told investigators a black car pulled up behind them while they were walking near Addie and East Depot streets and someone started shooting at them from the vehicle. .

The victim said he, his brother and the third person who was with them all took off on foot.

The teen was taken to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center for treatment.
