Hogansville preparing budget, sets hearings

HOGANSVILLE — The city of Hogansville will release its proposed budget for its upcoming fiscal year on June 16 at noon after City Council on Monday codified a schedule for hearings and adoption.
The council will host a work session, also on June 16, to discuss the budget at 5 p.m.
Three public hearings are also set: June 20 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.; and June 30 at 5 p.m., after which the council is expected to vote on approval of the budget.
All meetings will be held at Hogansville City Hall, 301 E. Main St.
City Manager James Woods said Tuesday staff were still crunching numbers and did not yet have an estimate on the total amount of the proposed budget.
