Events: Market on Main is 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Carmike Cinemas LaGrange 10 parking lot at Main and East Depot streets featuring local produce, food and crafts.

Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

The Active Life wellness center, 140 Ragland St., hosts dancing 7–10 p.m. with Jimmy Smith and New River Band. Cost is $5 per person. Adults of all ages welcome.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Churches: Trinity SDA Church Prayer and Bible Study Center at 710 Jenkins St. holds a free Bible study from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Pastor Walter Gordon, 706-812-0760

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Churches: Mount Gilead Baptist Church, on Cedar Street, celebrates Pastor Aid Day for the Rev. Alford Booker at 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Keith Lewis and Flint Ridge Baptist Church of Bowdon.

Living By Faith Worship Center, 2451 West Point Road, celebrates Youth Day at 3 p.m. Minister Carterris Tucker, O.H. Ministries, is guest speaker.

Monday

Events: A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

The LaGrange Memorial Library, 115 Alford St., hosts a second-level free class on using an iPad class at 6 p.m. Bring your own iPad. Registration is required because seating is limited. To register, fill out a form at the circulation desk or call 706-882-7784 ext. 20.

Meetings: The WellStar West Georgia Medical Center Board of Trustees meets 5:15 p.m. in the Board Room of West Georgia Medical Center.

The Troup County Board of Education meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center at 100 N. Davis Road.

The Troup County Democratic Party committee meets 6 p.m. at the Williams J. Griggs Center, 716 Glenn Robertson Drive in LaGrange.

Exhibits

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and usually the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To check Saturday openings or schedule a group visit, call 706-884-1828.
