The LaGrange Daily News will release its 2016 Progress edition in three parts beginning this weekend with a section focused on development, followed by wellness on Monday and community on Tuesday.

In anticipation of the upcoming edition, which focuses on positive changes in the community, we hit the street to find out what people thought about some of the topics we cover in this year’s edition. One family was willing to stop and share their feelings.

Serenity Buckner and family:

How do you feel about the lineup for Sweetland Amphitheatre?

“We were excited for the Temptations, and we hear Rascal Flatts is coming too!”

What aspect of Great Wolf Lodge are you most looking forward to?

“It’ll be something to do for all five generations of our family!”

What are your thoughts on the WellStar hospital merger?

“It makes the hospital better overall: payment is more convenient and there’s better service now. We’re lucky to have a great hospital in the area.”

How are you feeling about the local arts programs for the youth?

“Our family has participated in local arts programs for generations. My daughter had art exhibited at the museum when she participated in youth arts programs, and her daughter will as well!”
