Events: A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.
The LaGrange Memorial Library, 115 Alford St., hosts a free class on genealogy to help attendees learn to use Ancestry.com, find ancestors and build a family tree at 3 p.m. Request a five-generation chart at registration.
