Joe H. “Bo” Jordan

Mr. Joe H. “Bo” Jordan, 84, of LaGrange, GA died peacefully, surrounded by family December 26, 2016 at West Georgia Hospice.
Mr. Jordan was born July 9, 1932 in Troup County, GA to the late John Howard and Georgia Belle Jordan. His family was a Colonial Gas Distributor before opening John H. Jordan Motor Company on “Goldstein Hill”. Mr. Jordan began working on and selling automobiles at the early age of 13 up until his recent illness. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Jordan was a member of the VFW, the Georgia Independent Dealers Association, the Moose Club, Elk Club, and the Jaycees. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Jordan.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories two daughters, Lisa Jordan (Adelaido) Lopez and Angie Jordan (Kenneth) Bradley; grandchildren, Adam Bence, Morgan Bradley Orantes, Ansley (Chase) Rogers, Logan Lopez, Jordan Bradley and Melaney Lopez; great grandchildren, Daniel Orantes, Logan Bence, Bailey Bence, and Brady Rogers; close friend and his children’s mother, Joyce Smith Jordan; sister-in-law, Betty Jordan; niece, Janet Wright; other relatives and friends.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, December 30, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be 11:00am Saturday, December 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Thomas D. Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation in memory of Joe H. “Bo” Jordan.
