Mrs. Jennie Stitt Harris, 65, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home.

 

Mrs. Harris was born August 11, 1951 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Frank Pierce Stitt and Edna Christine Hornsby Stitt.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was retired from the Troup County Court House as the Deputy Clerk.  Mrs. Harris loved spending time in Panama City Beach, FL, spending time on the lake with family and friends and riding the pontoon boat, and loved her Dr. Pepper.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Harris.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Christy Eidson; son, Quenten Jones; grandson, Frankie Eidson; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Gaines Adams; niece, Amanda Brown; nephew, Alan Smith; and her 2 cats, Coonie and Jack.

 

Graveside memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Donald Yancey officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request contributions be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240 in memory of Jennie Stitt Harris.
