LAGRANGE – With senior Nick Keating exploding for 27 points, the LaGrange Academy Warriors got a 63-58 home win over Solid Rock on Monday.
“He’s been shooting the ball well in practice, and it finally translated to a game,” LaGrange Academy coach Britt Gaylor said. “He played really well for us.”
Fellow senior Lincoln Anderson added 17 points for LaGrange Academy, which avenged an earlier loss to Solid Rock.
“It was a big win,” Gaylor said. “They beat us by 20 at their place.”
LAFAYETTE CHRISTIAN: In the first round of the region tournament, Lafayette Christian’s boys’ team rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Holy Ground 66-59 on Tuesday to advance to Thursday’s semifinals.
