LaGRANGE- PWG Granite Design Group likes to be known as a “one-stop shop” that provides a multitude of different services to its customers.

Dave Yingling, owner of PWG Granite Design Group, says his kitchen and bathroom remodeling business consists of a granite company, cabinet company, flooring company and a construction company that all combine as one entire business that operates at the location at 1618 Hamilton Road.

“If you’re remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, then you don’t have to go anyplace else,” said Yingling. “We sell light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, granite, tile floor, glass shower doors, cabinet knobs, toilet paper holders and towel bar holders. Everything you need is here.”

Yingling started out with offices in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois but when the economy took a hit with steel mills and banks up in those areas, he opened his construction and cabinet company in Forsyth County in Cumming in 2000. Yingling then made the transition to LaGrange and launched his shop on Lukken Industrial Drive after renting out a space. He later settled on the current location. PWG Granite Design Group has been in LaGrange for five years now.

Yingling runs the business with his sales manager, Marvin Turner, and wife Gina Yingling, who serves as the marketing manager.

What stands out with PWG Granite Design Group is that they specialize in a variety of services that extend from focusing on counter tops, cabinets, residential construction, remodeling, flooring, mill work and many more customer services.

“With us they can get everything they need here from start to finish,” said Yingling. “That’s kind of the model we’ve built with our business being a one-stop shop where customers can come in and get everything they need here, instead of having to go to another store or get their own plumber or call a tile guy to do the backsplash. After people finish getting what they need here, they can just go home.”

Prices for laminated floor are 99 cents per square foot; floor tile is $1.89 per square foot; and carpet starts at $8 per square yard.

Yingling says that PWG Granite Design Group is  competitive with the big-box stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators.

Besides the competitive nature that Yingling conveys about other local stores, he highly enjoys attending to his customer’s needs.

“I really enjoy working with the local people and helping them design a unique feature for their home, whether for a shower, tile floor or a granite countertop,” said Yingling.
