LAGRANGE – Their region openers were delayed by a day.

LaGrange and Troup were supposed to play their first Region 5-AAAA games on Tuesday, but those games were pushed back a day because of concerns over the weather.

Both teams will be on the road today.

LaGrange will visit Cedartown, and Troup will play Chapel Hill.

On Friday, LaGrange will host Troup in a rivalry showdown.

LaGrange heads into region play with an 8-6 record, and it had won three in a row before falling to McIntosh on Saturday.

Troup is 9-5, and it is coming off a 2-2 performance in the Perfect Game High School Showdown.
